If you suffer from issues with your back, knees, shoulders, a general sense of lack of mobility and flexibility, and if you would like to develop a more comfortable and easy way of going through your daily activities – then these classes are for you.
The classes are also suitable for those of you with a physical profession: actors, dancers, performers, musicians, martial artists etc for improvement of performance and injuries prevention.
Awareness Through Movement®
In Awareness Through Movement lessons we engage in precisely structured movement explorations that involve thinking, sensing, moving, and imagining. The lessons consist of verbally directed movement sequences, which are comfortable and easy and which gradually evolve into movements of greater range and complexity. Through the learning process you will be able to find new ways of moving while increasing sensitivity and improving efficiency.

In Functional Integration, the practitioner uses touch and sometimes verbal guidance to lead the student into a more efficient way of moving and better organisation of themselves. Through touch you receive feedback about how you move and what new options are available. A more efficient organization and use of yourself will enable you to be more comfortable, avoid recurring injuries, relieve pain and tension, and find more vitality and energy in yourself and in what you do.
The sessions are tailored to the specific needs of the client/student and done in comfortable clothes.
